Cancellation & Refunds Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2026

Jarvis Cyber Advisory LLC provides professional consulting services. The terms below describe how cancellation and refunds are handled. The terms of an executed Engagement Agreement (statement of work, master services agreement, or equivalent) control over this policy with respect to a specific engagement.

1. Project-Based Engagements

Project-based engagements (such as security baseline assessments, compliance readiness assessments, and FedRAMP advisory engagements) are billed according to the milestone or payment schedule in the Engagement Agreement. If a client cancels a project-based engagement before its completion:

  • Fees for work completed and deliverables produced through the cancellation date are non-refundable.
  • Fees for work not yet performed will not be invoiced, or, if already paid in advance, will be refunded on a pro-rata basis less any unrecoverable third-party costs incurred on the client's behalf.
  • Any deposit or retainer is applied to work performed and is non-refundable to the extent the work has been delivered.

2. Recurring Advisory Engagements

Recurring engagements (such as virtual CISO and fractional security advisory retainers) are billed monthly or on the cadence specified in the Engagement Agreement. Either party may cancel a recurring engagement with the notice period specified in the Engagement Agreement (typically 30 days). Fees for the current billing period are non-refundable; no further fees will be billed after the notice period concludes.

3. Refund Requests

Refund requests should be sent in writing via our contact form and will reference the Engagement Agreement and invoice number. We will respond within ten (10) business days.

4. Disputes

If you believe an invoice has been issued in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. Most billing questions are resolved quickly through direct communication.

5. Currency and Payment Method

Invoices are issued in U.S. dollars unless an alternative currency is specified in the applicable Engagement Agreement, and are processed through Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). We do not collect, store, or process payment card details on this website. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
